Hans-Dickmann-Kolleg (HaDiKo)

The HaDiKo
to the university in 5 min (by bike)
having fun in the bar (with beer)
and at the dorm-parties

The HaDiKo is the largest self-administrated student residence in Germany. Between 140 and 180 students live in each of the five buildings that lie close to the city center but also next to the forest. On each floor live between 13 and 15 students in single rooms. In addition to showers and toilets on each floor there is also a washing basin in every room. The big kitchen also serves as a living room where everyone comes together.

Furthermore there are a music room, bicycle workshop, electronics lab, photographic lab, pool table, foosball, wood workshop, a bar in each building and the fastest internet connection in the world ;-). All the services are administered by the inhabitants. On two of the buildings there is a rooftop terrace, that can be used for barbecueing or sun bathing just like the big lawn.
